2022 4th of July Guide - Holiday Celebration in the Daytona Area

All Things Fireworks and Festivals from Ormond to Edgewater

You know it's officially Summer when 4th of July hits!    

Once you get done grillin and chillin with the family, make plans to check out one of these celebrations around town! From fireworks to food trucks, the Daytona Beach area has it all and Macaroni KID Daytona Beach has all the details!

On July 1st, Tanger Outlets is kicking off the weekend with their Independence Day Block Party:

"Come kick off the July 4th weekend with a bang at the Independence Day Block Party at Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach, Friday, July 1 from 5 pm-7:30 pm. Enjoy music, kids fun zone, face painting and so much more!! The Independence Day Block Party will take place near Under Armour, don't miss the fun!

Help support the Halifax Humane Society! Bring a donation of pet food or supplies to the event and you'll receive a drawstring bag from Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach!"

Also on July 1st, is the Firecracker Festival in Deland:

"GET FIRED UP for the City of Deland's most anticipated event. Firecracker Festival on Friday, July 1st, 2022. The fun starts at 6:00pm with games, live music, Food Trucks, vendors and a kids zone. The event will conclude at dusk with the best Fireworks anywhere. Come join us for Firecracker Festival in Earl Brown Park, 750 South Alabama Ave in DeLand. Be sure to bring lawn seating. This is a free event so bring the whole gang. "

The Lake Helen 4th of July Celebration starts first thing in the morning on the 4th and is an all day event:

"Parade Begins at 10am/ Lineup at 9am at Fox Glass/ Fireworks begin at 9pm. Festivities and Music begin at 11am.Food Trucks Fireworks Live Music. All Day Event!"

In Daytona, the 2nd Annual July 4th Main Street Parade is starting early in the morning:

"Everyone is invited to Join The Marine Corps League Daytona in Celebrating July 4th on Main Street for the 2nd Annual Main Street 4th of July Parade. The Parade will kick off at 10:00 at N. Ocean Avenue and Main Street. The Parade will head West to the Main Street Bridge."

Independence Day at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse & Museum offers an opportunity for an adventure before the night of fireworks:

"Celebrate the birth of our Nation at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum before heading out for an evening of fireworks! Discover over 130 years of maritime history as you explore one of the Nation’s largest and most authentic light stations and Climb 175 Feet to the top of Florida’s Tallest Lighthouse. Enjoy guided tours of the world famous lighthouse museum and family-oriented activities including workshops and kids crafts. All special activities are provided free of charge with regular admission from 10:30 am until 2:30 pm."

In New Smyrna, the 4th of July celebration at the Brannon Center starts in the afternoon:

"Our 4th of July Celebration will be a great time for all!We will have food trucks, live entertainment, and a firework show to end off the evening. The festivities will start at 4pm and the firework show time will be announced in the near future."

Port Orange City Center offers a 4th of July specatcular including a kids zone:

"The Port Orange Parks and Recreation Department wants to celebrate Independence Day with you, your family, and your friends! Come out to City Center Park, located at 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange FL 32129, for live music, a classic car show, a kid zone filled to the top with fun, food trucks, fireworks AND MORE! The Kids Zone will bring a whole lot of fun to the 4th of July Festival! Come check out Noah's Landing petting zoo, jump through the inflatables, get a balloon animal from Sparky the Clown, a cartoon painting from Mike Valentine, and watch Kevin King as he wow's us with his magic tricks."

Edgewater is hosting its EDGEfest 4th of July Celebration:

"Nothing makes it feel like summer more than the 4th of July! Have you made plans for your family and friends to join us in Edgewater? If not, save the date and be sure to join us for an evening of family fun on Monday, July 4, 2022. The event begins at 6:00 PM at George R. Kennedy Memorial Park (103 North Riverside Drive).

There will be live music, food, vendors (including a beer garden) and more. The night will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks show by Zambelli Fireworks launched at dusk from George R. Kennedy Memorial Park so be sure to be settled in your viewing spot at the City Hall Complex by 9:00 PM."

The Daytona Beach Bandshell will be continuing its Star Spangled Summer Series with a concert and fireworks:

"Boardwalk Merchants & Friends of the Bandshell present Alter Eagles - a tribute to The Eagles. VIP Tickets On Sale: Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Peabody Box Office (located at 600 Auditorium Blvd). VIP Reserved Tickets: $10 plus applicable surcharges, with seat included. General Admission: FREE, guests may bring their own chair.Fireworks begin after the concerts at 9:45 PM"

 In Ormond, you can catch music, fireworks and food trucks at their Independence Day Celebration:

"Join the City of Ormond Beach for a celebration with music, food trucks, fireworks, and more! Fireworks begin at 9pm."
