Savoring the moment, one sip at a time! Al Smith Productions has announced that the 13th Annual Main Street Rum Fest will return to the world’s most famous party street on Saturday, June 22, from 6:00 PM until Midnight. Main Street’s Rum Fest is presented by Politis & Matovina Law Firm, and sponsored by famous watering holes Full Moon Saloon, Main Street Station, Crusin Café, and Boot Hill Saloon. The Main Street Rum Fest is free and open to the public and will have something for everyone.
The Main Street Rum Fest Street Party is an ideal destination for fun. Everyone is invited to stroll Main Street, listen to live music, check out the food trucks, and sip some refreshing rum drinks like Bahama Mammas, Rum Runners, Pina Coladas, Mia Tais, Daiquiris, and chill! Live music will be featured on stages at Full Moon Saloon, Main Street Station, and Boot Hill Saloon.
Main Street will be closed to street traffic from 6:00 PM until Midnight from A1A to Peninsula Drive. Main Street will be transformed into an island experience complete with a pirate parade, a pirate ship, fireworks, classic rum drinks, and, of course, pirates. There may even be some sightings of James Sparrow!
The Pirate Parade will begin at Cruisin Café at the corner of Main Street and A1A at 7:30 PM and travel West down Main Street with a bagpiper leading the way. Highlights of the event include the Pirate Parade, Ancient City Privateers Pirate Ship complete with mermaids, St. Augustine Sirens Belly Dancing Troupe, Sword Fights, photo opportunities with a Jack Sparrow look-alike, food trucks, rum drinks, drink specials, live music, and fireworks over the ocean!
