There is so much fun planned for the EDGEfest 4th of July celebration that we may run out room telling you all about it!
The celebration begins at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at both the City Hall complex (104 North Riverside Drive) and Menard May Park (413 South Riverside Drive). If you are wondering which location would be best for you, check out these tips:
City Hall complex
• Easier access for those with mobility issues
• More relaxed setting
• Food trucks, vendors, cooling station, live music/DJ, games and activities, restrooms (including a handicap accessible port-o-let)
• Up close view of the fireworks
Menard May Park
• No vehicles allowed so this is a good choice for families with children
• More high energy setting
• DJ, food trucks, vendors, a beer tent hosted by AMVETS, a dunk tank, an inflatable obstacle course, Gobbler’s Lodge mobile archery range, nerf guns to rent, games and activities and restrooms
• River view of the fireworks
The night will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks show by Zambelli Fireworks launched at dusk from George R. Kennedy Memorial Park so be sure to be settled in your viewing spot at the City Hall complex or Menard May Park by 8:30 PM.
There will be several public parking lots open:
• Park Avenue and Wilkinson Street
• Edgewater – New Smyrna Cemetery (700 South Ridgewood Avenue)
• Edgewater United Methodist Church (211 North Ridgewood Avenue)
