Description
This class is designed for children and pre-teens. The focus of the class is to learn about all of the different animals that live on a farm, what they eat, what we use them for, and how we take care of them.
Animals covered in this class may include ducks, geese, chickens, donkeys, cows, horses, goats, and a pig. There will be some opportunities to pet animals but this class is not designed to be a “petting zoo”. These are real farm animals that serve purposes here on our farm and are not all as friendly or tame as petting zoo animals.
Educational content will be broken up with activities, as students will help collect eggs, help feed the animals, and participate in other “farm chores”.
Class is $25 per student, with a class size cap of 10.
