Scholastic Chess Camp – Wood Chess of Central Florida
Scholastic Chess Camp from Wood Chess of Central Florida gives students the opportunity to build strategy, focus, and critical thinking skills through engaging instruction and hands-on play. Campers learn chess strategy, work with large demonstration pieces during group lessons, and enjoy exciting bughouse matches with fellow students.
Each one-week session is designed for students who already have some chess ability and want to continue sharpening their skills in a fun, supportive environment. Throughout the week, campers practice real game strategies while gaining confidence and preparing for tournament play.
The camp concludes with a certified rated scholastic tournament, where students compete for trophies and medals. Medals and certificates are awarded to all campers, and the tournament fee along with the USCF registration fee is included in the camp price.
